6:00 – 7:00 am is reserved for health care professionals, first responders, elderly, and high risks customers. Remote shopping options: Cub has online shopping and grocery delivery. Available delivery hours may vary. Delivery times are chosen at checkout. Delivery is free for the first Instacart order. After the first Instacart order, delivery costs start at just $3.99 + 5% service fee for a two hour or scheduled delivery with a purchase of $35 or more. For one-hour delivery or orders under $35, the delivery fee is $7.99 + 5% service fee. The service fee is not a tip and will not go directly to the shopper or delivery driver. Customers have the option of adding a tip to their order. There is a $10 order minimum on all orders. Customers also have the option to purchase an “Express Membership” for $99 annually or $9.99/month which includes free delivery for all orders over $35. There is no service fee for Express Membership Customers.

Tuesdays from 7:00 – 8:00 am is reserved for seniors 60+ – this includes pharmacy and vision centers. Remote shopping option(s): WalMart has no-contact pickup and delivery options. You can order groceries from them online or in our app anytime. One of their associates will pick your order and bring it out to the curb when you arrive. This is a great way to maintain social distance. No contact pickup: No-contact pickup is now available. You’ll no longer have to sign for your order. An associate will simply put your order in your vehicle. How It Works: Shop Walmart’s food selection online anytime, anywhere. You can use the Walmart Grocery App. Choose a convenient pickup time from a location near you. If you’re a SNAP EBT customer, you can split the payment with another card if needed.

Lakes Area Food Shelf
Due to the possible spread of COVID-19, food shelf volunteers were forced to temporarily close their storeroom, providing a drive-through system instead.Despite some new changes, the Lakes Area Food Shelf wants to ensure customers that they will continue to stay open. Staff members say that low income financial guidelines are being waived at this time allowing any family in need of food to qualify.

For some the loss of income is the largest barrier to meeting their food needs. Those who are facing such circumstances can seek help from Crow Wing Counties Public Assistance Programs, including:
- Cash assistance for families: MN Family Investment Program (MFIP) 218-824-1250
- Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for food purchases for families and individuals 218-824-1250
- General Assistance (GA): Cash Assistance for individuals over 18 with no children and with no or limited resources
- Women Infants Children program (WIC) supplemental food and nutrition program low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women and children under age 5 who have a nutritional risk. 218-824-1073
