Bold Yet Seldom Told-Book Launch

Join us for the book launch for Bold Yet Seldom Told.

This book is a collection of artwork, stories, essays, and poems contributed by people who are considered to be in the ‘margins’ of life.  They may live in black or brown skins, be LGBTQ, struggle with mental illness or addiction, or be incarcerated.  They are closest to the problems but furthest from decision makers.  They have been stereotyped and seen as less than ‘normal’ people.  Here you can read their stories about hope and transformation.  We hope to generate honest dialogue in our community and create more empathy and compassion for our neighbors.  Thank you to the people brave enough to share their stories.

When: Sunday April 14th from 2:00-4:00 pm

Where: Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Hospital. We will meet in the lower level of the hospital, adjacent to the cafeteria.

Light refreshments will be served.

Books will be available to purchase.  There will be an opportunity to learn about how this book was developed as well as hear stories read by several contributors.
