Rev. Dr. Candace Adams leads The Compassionate Way, which is a new ministry endeavor in the Baxter and Brainerd area. This ministry seeks to accompany individuals in under-served populations on their spiritual journey in ways that are relatable, relevant, and restorative. She serves women experiencing incarceration, adults with developmental disabilities, senior adults, individuals residing in sober living homes, struggling with housing insecurity, and suffering with mental health issues, and more. Adams believes that compassion can truly transform the world.
This virtual Lunch and Learn will explore the difference between compassion and empathy, provide three basic components of compassion, touch on compassion fatigue, and offer practical ways for individuals to extend compassion to others. We invite you to join us via Zoom and learn more about this topic. There is no charge but registration is required to receive the Zoom link.
